Job summary

Miguel's Restaurant in Fontana, CA is seeking an Assistant General Manager to oversee front and back of house operations, partner with the GM, and develop the team for future General Manager roles.

The AGM leads shifts, supports onboarding and training, upholds brand standards, monitors guest service, safety, and compliance, and drives labor and cost controls to improve performance across daily operations.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of supervisory/management experience in QSR or similar.
• Demonstrated ability to lead, coach, and motivate a diverse team.
• Knowledge of restaurant operations, labor management, and food safety practices.
• Proficiency in verbal and written English; bilingual English/Spanish is a plus.
• Flexible availability including nights, weekends, and holidays.
• High School Diploma or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Supports BOH and FOH daily operations to ensure standard execution.
• Assists GM with labor, food cost, inventory, and performance metrics.
• Analyzes results and supports action plans to improve efficiency and profitability.
• Ensures readiness during shifts by addressing staffing and execution gaps.
• Manages guest concerns and ensures consistent guest experiences.
• Leads Shift Supervisors and team through coaching and role modeling.
• Supports onboarding and training of new hires to meet standards.
