Job summary

Miguel's Jr. - Lake Elsinore is looking for an Assistant General Manager (AGM) to support Front and Back of the House operations. The AGM will partner with the General Manager, taking lead responsibility when the GM is offsite, focusing on team leadership and operational efficiency.

Responsibilities include training new hires, managing daily operations, and ensuring compliance with safety standards while fostering a guest-centered work environment. Candidates must have at least 2 years of supervisory experience in a QSR setting.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in a supervisory or management role.
• Demonstrated ability to lead and motivate a diverse team.
• Working knowledge of restaurant operations and labor management.
• Proficiency in verbal and written English; bilingual English/Spanish is a plus.
• Intermediate computer skills.

Responsibilities

• Supports daily operations to ensure consistent execution.
• Assists the GM in managing operational controls and performance metrics.
• Leads and supports Shift Supervisors and team members.
• Ensures compliance with food safety and workplace standards.
• Maintains communication with the GM about operations.
