Job summary

CAVA is seeking an Assistant General Manager to partner with the General Manager and Area Leader in driving store performance. You will oversee daily restaurant operations, lead a team, manage schedules and labor, and ensure top-tier guest experience.

The AGM will learn leadership competencies, manage budgets, and contribute to profitability while upholding CAVA standards and a positive work culture. Competitive hourly pay and growth opportunities offered.

Qualifications

• 1–2 years of supervisory/management experience in restaurant or hospitality.
• Strong leadership and communication skills.
• Proven track record of delivering exceptional customer service.
• Experience with scheduling, labor management, and inventory control.
• Knowledge of budgeting, cost control, and safety regulations.

Responsibilities

• Assist the General Manager in managing daily restaurant operations, including opening and closing procedures.
• Ensure adherence to CAVA's standards for food quality, service, and cleanliness.
• Oversee inventory management, supply ordering, and cost control to maintain profitability.
• Supervise and support Team Members with training, coaching, and performance feedback.
• Support with scheduling and staffing; address Team Member issues to maintain a positive environment.
• Enhance guest experience by upholding service standards and addressing customer concerns.
• Assist with financial reporting, performance metrics, and identifying areas for improvement.
