Job summary

CAVA is seeking an Assistant General Manager to lead restaurant operations alongside the General Manager and Area Leader. You will oversee schedules, forecasting, labor, and inventory while developing hourly Team Members with hands-on coaching.

The AGM supports financial reporting, guest experience, and adherence to high service standards in a fast-paced environment. Expect strong leadership, a focus on profitability, and a commitment to CAVA values.

Qualifications

• 1–2 years in a supervisory or management role within hospitality/restaurant.
• Proven leadership and team management abilities.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Track record of delivering exceptional customer service.
• Ability to adapt and resolve issues to improve performance.
• Knowledge of budgeting, cost control and safety regulations.

Responsibilities

• Assist GM in daily restaurant operations, including opening/closing.
• Ensure food quality, service standards and cleanliness.
• Oversee inventory, ordering and cost control to protect profitability.
• Coach and develop Team Members with training and feedback.
• Support scheduling and staffing; address team issues promptly.
• Improve guest experience and address customer concerns.
• Support financial reporting and tracking of sales and cash handling.
• Uphold food safety practices and staff training on procedures.
