Job summary

Pura Vida Miami is opening a new location and seeking an Assistant General Manager to lead a hospitality team and deliver an exceptional guest experience. You will educate guests about our nutrient-rich recipes, promote health benefits, and maintain a welcoming environment for both customers and staff.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of proven experience in customer service in the hospitality and/or restaurant industry.
• 2+ years of proven managerial experience in the hospitality and/or restaurant industry.
• Local/municipal requirements, such as Food Handler certification required.
• Exceptional communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
• Must be able to frequently lift and move up to 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Lead by example, maintain positivity and clear communication with the team.
• Deliver outstanding customer service and resolve issues efficiently and professionally.
• Motivate and guide staff to exceed customer expectations with swift, friendly service.
• Collaborate with the General Manager to manage inventory, labor, and procedures.
• Establish staffing plans to support volume fluctuations; oversee shifts and scheduling.
• Uphold food safety regulations and sanitation standards.
• Support supervisory functions including hiring, promotions, and performance coaching.
• Direct staff on the floor to ensure smooth operations and address issues promptly.
• Monitor the expo station to guarantee timely, accurate food delivery.
