Job summary

Pura Vida Miami is seeking an Assistant General Manager to lead a hospitality team in a fast-paced environment. You will coach staff, ensure superb guest service, and emphasize the health benefits of our nutrient-rich recipes while maintaining a welcoming atmosphere.

You will collaborate with the General Manager on inventory, staffing, and standard operating procedures, while upholding food safety and sanitation standards. A strong communicator and organizer thrives here.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year in customer service in hospitality/restaurant.
• 2+ years of managerial experience in hospitality/restaurant.
• High School Diploma or GED; 2 years of college preferred.
• Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
• Local food handler certification required.
• Able to lift up to 50 pounds.
• Bilingual English/Spanish a plus.

Responsibilities

• Lead a team with positive leadership and clear communication.
• Deliver outstanding customer service and resolve issues.
• Motivate staff to provide fast, friendly service in a clean environment.
• Collaborate with General Manager on inventory, labor and procedures.
• Maintain staffing plans to match volume.
• Adhere to food safety and sanitation standards.
• Supervise hiring, promotions, performance reviews, coaching.
• Schedule and supervise team shifts for smooth operations.
• Direct floor staff to address issues promptly.
• Monitor expo station to ensure timely food delivery.
