Job summary

Pura Vida Miami LLC seeks an Assistant General Manager to lead a dynamic team in a fast-paced hospitality setting. You will supervise staff, ensure outstanding guest service, and educate guests on healthful menu options while maintaining a welcoming atmosphere.

In this role, you will partner with the General Manager on inventory, staffing, and operational procedures, while upholding food safety standards and coaching team members to meet service goals.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of customer service experience in hospitality/restaurant.
• 2+ years of managerial experience in hospitality/restaurant.
• High school diploma or GED required; 2 years of college preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead by example with positivity and clear communication across the team.
• Deliver outstanding customer service and resolve issues professionally.
• Motivate staff to exceed customer expectations with swift, friendly service.
• Collaborate with General Manager to manage inventory, labor, and operations.
• Establish staffing plans to support volume fluctuations; ensure food safety compliance.
• Assist in supervisory functions including hiring, promotions, and performance coaching.
• Schedule and supervise shifts to ensure smooth operations.
• Direct staff on the floor to maintain smooth service and address issues promptly.
• Monitor expo station to ensure timely and accurate food delivery.
