Job summary

Pura Vida Miami in Florida is seeking an Assistant General Manager to lead a hospitality team, deliver outstanding guest service, and promote our nutrient-rich menu.

You will partner with the General Manager to manage staffing, inventory, and daily operations while upholding food safety and creating a welcoming atmosphere for guests and staff. Bilingual English/Spanish is a plus.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of proven customer service experience in hospitality/restaurant.
• 2+ years of proven managerial experience in hospitality/restaurant.
• High School Diploma or GED required; 2 years of college preferred.
• Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
• Local/municipal requirements, such as Food Handler certification required.
• Must be able to frequently lift and move up to 50 pounds.
• Bilingual proficiency (English and Spanish) is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Lead by example with a positive attitude and clear team communication.
• Deliver outstanding customer service, address needs, and resolve issues efficiently.
• Motivate staff to exceed guest expectations with fast, friendly service.
• Collaborate with GM to manage inventory, labor, and procedures.
• Establish staffing plans to support peak volumes.
• Uphold food safety regulations and sanitation standards.
• Assist in hiring, promoting, and coaching team members.
• Organize and supervise shifts for smooth operations.
• Direct staff on the floor to address issues promptly.
• Monitor expo station to ensure timely food delivery.
