Job summary

Extended Stay America in Alpharetta, GA is seeking an Assistant General Manager to support daily hotel operations, drive guest satisfaction, and lead hourly staff. The AGM assists the GM, coordinates scheduling, training, and safety compliance.

You will manage onboarding, supervise 8 to 15 associates, promote teamwork, monitor controls, and help maximize revenue and GOP results while upholding ESA's service culture.

Qualifications

• Fluent English communication in writing and speaking.
• Ability to use hotel property management systems.
• Strong math and audit skills.
• Demonstrated supervisory ability over 8–15 hourly staff.
• Ability to prioritize and manage multiple daily tasks.

Responsibilities

• Provide hands-on leadership to hotel staff and ensure daily operations run smoothly.
• Assist in onboarding, training, and performance coaching.
• Enforce safety, security, and company policies at the property level.
• Drive revenue, control costs, and improve guest and associate satisfaction.
• Serve as manager on duty in GM/MUGM's absence and resolve guest issues.
