Job summary

Extended Stay America is seeking an Assistant General Manager to support the General Manager in daily hotel operations, ensure guest and associate satisfaction, and uphold safety standards. You’ll lead hourly staff, schedule, train, and drive service culture across the property.

You will oversee onboarding, budgeting, revenue opportunities, and adherence to company policies, while acting as manager on duty when needed.

Qualifications

• Minimum Qualifications: Prior hotel experience in a hospitality or retail establishment is required.
• Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities: strong communication, leadership and operational oversight.

Responsibilities

• Lead hourly staff, schedule, train and direct daily activities to ensure top service.
• Promote safety, security and policy compliance at the property level.
• Drive guest satisfaction and associate engagement through proactive management.
• Assist in budgeting, labor control, and revenue initiatives to meet budgeted goals.
