Job summary

Extended Stay America in the United States is seeking an Assistant General Manager to support the GM and oversee day-to-day hotel operations, driving guest and associate satisfaction while leading a team of hourly staff.

The AGM will ensure safety standards, onboarding and training, and collaboration with sales initiatives to maximize GOP and revenue while maintaining ESA's service culture.

Qualifications

• Experience in hospitality or retail; supervisory experience preferred.
• Strong communication and leadership abilities.
• Ability to manage 8–15 hourly staff and complex scheduling.

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership to hourly staff and manage scheduling and training.
• Ensure onboarding and ESU training completed timely.
• Promote safety compliance and incident reporting.
• Drive initiatives to increase revenue and guest satisfaction.
• Act as manager on duty in GM/MUGM absence.
• Assist with budgeting, labor monitoring, and PAR levels.
• Assist with hotel sales and lead generation.
