Job summary

Pura Vida Miami invites an Assistant General Manager to lead a guest-focused team in our fast-casual setting. You will model positive service, educate guests about our nutrient-rich recipes, and foster a welcoming environment for both customers and staff.

You will work with the General Manager on operations, staffing, inventory, and safety, ensuring consistent, high-quality service while upholding food safety standards and brand values.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of customer service experience in hospitality/restaurant.
• 2+ years of managerial experience in hospitality/restaurant.
• High School Diploma or GED required; 2 years of college preferred.
• Exceptional communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
• Local/municipal requirements, such as Food Handler certification required.
• Must be able to frequently lift and move up to 50 pounds.
• Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Lead by example with positivity and clear communication across the team.
• Deliver outstanding customer service and resolve issues efficiently.
• Motivate and guide staff to exceed customer expectations.
• Collaborate with the General Manager on inventory, labor, and operations.
• Establish staffing plans to cover anticipated volume fluctuations.
• Uphold food safety and sanitation standards.
• Support supervisory functions including hiring, promotions, coaching and development.
• Organize and supervise shifts for smooth operations.
• Direct staff on the floor to address issues promptly.
• Monitor expo station to ensure timely food delivery.
