Job summary

Pura Vida Miami is seeking an Assistant General Manager to lead a hospitality team and educate guests about our nutrient-rich recipes, delivering a welcoming, efficient experience every day.

You will partner with the General Manager to manage inventory, staffing, and operational procedures, while upholding food safety standards and delivering outstanding customer service to every guest.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year in customer service in hospitality
• 2+ years managerial experience in hospitality
• High school diploma or GED required; college preferred
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
• Food handler certification required
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
• Bilingual English/Spanish is a plus

Responsibilities

• Lead by example with clear communication across the team
• Deliver outstanding customer service and resolve issues
• Motivate and guide team to exceed customer expectations
• Collaborate with General Manager on inventory, labor, and procedures
• Establish staffing plans to handle volume fluctuations
• Uphold food safety and sanitation standards
• Supervise hiring, promotions, terminations, and appraisals
• Organize and supervise team shifts for smooth operations
• Direct staff on the floor to ensure smooth operations
• Monitor expo station for timely food delivery
