Job summary

Pura Vida Miami seeks an Assistant General Manager to lead a team in a fast-paced restaurant setting. You will focus on serving and educating guests about our healthy recipes while promoting a positive, inviting atmosphere daily.

Requirements include 2+ years managerial experience in hospitality, 1+ year in customer service, and strong communication skills. A Food Handler certification and bilingual English/Spanish are considered pluses, with growth opportunities and competitive benefits.

Qualifications

• Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
• Bilingual proficiency (English and Spanish) is a plus.
• High School Diploma or GED required; 2 years of college preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise a team, ensuring outstanding guest service and adherence to health standards.
• Collaborate with General Manager on inventory, labor allocation, and operations.
• Maintain staffing plans to support volume fluctuations and ensure smooth shifts.
• Direct staff on the floor to address issues promptly and maintain a welcoming environment.
• Oversee expo station to ensure timely, accurate food delivery and customer satisfaction.
