Smoothie King is seeking an Assistant General Manager in Maynard, MA to support the GM in leading the team toward an exceptional Guest Experience and adherence to brand standards. You will model our mission and core values while overseeing store operations.

You will assist with hiring, training, and daily management, use tools for inventory and ordering, support local marketing, and help drive KPIs and community outreach. Strong communication and flexible hours are essential.

Qualifications

• Minimum high school diploma or GED equivalent.
• At least 2 years as a shift lead in restaurant or retail customer service.
• Basic knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to perform basic POS and computer functions.
• Ability to communicate effectively with customers, team members, and community.
• Ability to work varied hours including evenings, weekends, holidays.

Responsibilities

• Assist the General Manager with hiring, developing, and leading the team to provide a great guest experience and fulfill our mission.
• Use operational tools for inventory management and ordering to achieve operational excellence.
• Develop local store marketing plans and support brand initiatives and community events.
• Collaborate with the General Manager to deliver smoothies and healthy products; review KPIs and address improvements.
• Manage store cash activities and daily deposits.
• Ensure compliance with food safety guidelines and overall store cleanliness.
• Drive company programs and communicate promotions to the team.
