Job summary

Trinity Services Group Inc. is seeking an Assistant Food Service Director to help run a large jail kitchen in Panama City, FL. You will supervise staff and ensure meals are prepared on schedule while maintaining health and sanitation standards.

Ideal candidates have a high school diploma or GED, 2 years of supervision in food service, ServSafe certification, and strong budgeting, inventory, and Microsoft Office skills. This is an onsite role with competitive pay and benefits.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Two years of management or supervisory experience in a food service position.
• Three years of experience working in food service.
• ServSafe Certification.
• Must have experience with purchasing, inventory, ordering and receiving.
• Experience managing and applying kitchen sanitation and safety standards and methods.
• Knowledge of basic accounting and mathematical abilities to complete necessary reports.
• Proficiency in all Microsoft Office applications and with food service management systems.
• We prefer prior institutional food service or restaurant experience.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for the guidance, training, and management of the facility food service operation.
• You will hire, orient, train and issues corrective action to team members.
• Develop positive connections with clients requires communicating with them.
• Oversee the appropriate quantities of food are prepared and served according to facility or site plan.
• Maintain accuracy of inventory in advance preparation of planned menu schedule.
• Ensure that food items are stored properly.
• Maintain all serving schedules to ensure all food items are served per menu specifications in a safe and appropriate manner according to departmental guidelines.
• Maintain a sanitary environment following food service and Health Department codes and regulations.
• Responsible for any state or other inspection of food service operation.
• Other responsibilities as determined by our needs.
