Trinity Services Group is seeking an Assistant Food Service Director to partner with the Food Service Director in running a large jail/correctional facility kitchen operation. You will supervise a team of food service workers and ensure safe, compliant, and efficient food service delivery.

The role is onsite inside a jail/correctional facility, with reporting to the Food Service Director. A strong candidate will have management experience, food safety knowledge, and a commitment to continuous

Qualifications

• Requires 2 years of management or supervisory experience in a food service position.
• 3 years of experience working in food service.
• ServSafe Certification.
• Experience with purchasing, inventory, ordering and receiving.
• Knowledge of sanitation and safety standards and methods.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and food service management systems.
• Preference for institutional food service or restaurant experience.
• High School Diploma or GED required.

Responsibilities

• Guide, train, and manage the facility food service operation.
• Hire, orient, train and issue corrective action to team members.
• Oversee quantities of food prepared and served per plan.
• Maintain inventory accuracy and prepared menu schedules.
• Ensure proper storage of food items.
• Maintain serving schedules to meet menu specifications and safety guidelines.
• Maintain sanitary environment per health codes and regulations.
• Coordinate inspections and respond to regulatory requirements.
• Take on other duties as determined by needs.
