Job summary

Learning Care Group is hiring an Assistant Director to help run a safe, effective school alongside the School Director. In the Director’s absence, the Assistant Director has sole responsibility for the school and for guiding children's social, physical, and intellectual growth.

The ideal candidate is accountable, responsible, creative, positive, team-oriented, and dedicated, with leadership experience in licensed childcare and at least an AA degree in early childhood education.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• Must have leadership experience and at least 1 year in a licensed childcare facility.
• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Must meet state requirements for education and our center requirements.
• AA degree in early childhood education/child development with plan to complete BA degree.

Responsibilities

• Oversee safe, effective operation of the school with the School Director.
• In Director's absence, assume sole responsibility for the school.
• Promote social, physical and intellectual growth of the children.
• Contribute to a supportive, educational, and safe environment for children and parents.
• Recruit, select, and retain quality staff.

Job Requirements

• Must be at least 21 years of age
• Must have previous leadership experience and at least 1 year of experience working in a licensed childcare facility.
• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Must meet state requirements for education and our center/school requirements.
• AA degree in early childhood education/child develop required with a plan of study to complete BA degree.

Compensation/Benefits

• Compensation of $22.89/starting hourly based on Position, Education and Experience. Bi-weekly and Daily Pay options.
