Job summary

Learning Care Group is seeking an Assistant Director to ensure the safe, effective operation of the child care center under the supervision of the School Director. In the Director’s absence, the Assistant Director has sole responsibility for the school.

You will support the social, physical, and intellectual growth of the children, promote a caring environment for families, and contribute to recruiting and retaining qualified staff to deliver high-quality early education.

Qualifications

• Must have previous leadership experience.
• Must have at least 1 year of experience working in a licensed childcare facility.
• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Must meet state requirements for education and our center/school requirements.

Responsibilities

• Ensure the school is operating safely and in line with company and licensing standards.
• Assist in promoting social, physical, and intellectual growth of children.
• In the Director’s absence, assume sole responsibility for the school.
• Help recruit, select, and retain quality staff to support operations.
