Job summary

Learning Care is seeking an Assistant Director to help ensure the safe and effective operation of our child care school alongside the School Director. When the Director is unavailable, the Assistant Director takes on sole responsibility for the school and leads in promoting social, physical, and intellectual growth for children.

The role emphasizes accountability, creating a caring and safe environment, recruiting and retaining staff, and supporting profitability.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 21 years old.
• Must have previous leadership experience and at least 1 year of experience working in a licensed childcare facility.
• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Must meet state requirements for education and our center/school requirements.

Responsibilities

• Assist in the safe, effective operation of the school with the School Director.
• In the Director’s absence, assume sole responsibility for the school.
• Promote the social, physical, and intellectual growth of the children.
• Recruit, select, and retain quality staff.

Job Requirements

• Must be at least 21 years of age

Compensation and Benefits

• Compensation based on Position, Education and Experience. Bi-weekly and Daily Pay options.
