Job summary

Floor & Decor is seeking a dedicated trainer for Product Sales Specialists to ensure superior customer service and expert product knowledge. The role involves directing staff, completing certification courses, and maintaining accurate merchandising and pricing across the department.

You will greet customers, assist with selections, handle checkout interactions, and present educational classes on product usage. A strong communicator with retail experience is ideal.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 1 year of customer service/sales experience or equivalent.
• Excellent communication skills (verbal & written).
• Ability to multi-task and work in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Provide direction to product sales specialists to ensure high level of customer service.
• Complete all product specialist certification courses.
• Demonstrate understanding of merchandise and installation.
• Ensure merchandising, pricing and organization of the department.
• Communicate SOP changes to associates in a timely manner.
• Operate the showroom floor and process merchandise placement and pricing.
• Greet customers and assist with product questions and selections.
• Process transactions at checkout and handle refunds/exchanges per guidelines.
• Present how-to classes to customers.
