Floor & Decor is seeking a trainer for Product Sales Specialists to ensure customers have a positive shopping experience by delivering exceptional service and accurate product information. You will lead certification courses and coach staff on the basic P’s of retail: People, Position, Product, Presentation, Price, Promotion, Purchasing.

This role requires a high school diploma, 1 year of customer service or sales experience, and excellent verbal and written communication.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED.
• 1 year of customer service/sales experience, or equivalent.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to multi-task and work in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Lead and train product sales specialists to deliver exceptional customer service.
• Complete product specialist certification courses.
• Understand merchandise and installation.
• Ensure proper merchandising, pricing and department organization.
• Communicate SOPs to associates promptly.
• Complete the Industrial Truck (forklift) proficiency testing and certification.
• Communicate inventory needs to management.
• Assist customers with product questions and selections.
• Process customers at checkout using the POS system.
• Process refunds and exchanges per guidelines.
• Present how-to classes to customers.
• Stock and tag displays; create price signs.
