Job summary

Floor & Decor Holdings Inc. is seeking a trainer to develop Product Sales Specialists and ensure an outstanding shopping experience. You will train staff, oversee product knowledge, and guide pricing, promotions, and presentation across the department.

You will greet customers, answer product questions, and assist with selections while processing transactions at the POS system. This role emphasizes safety, teamwork, and adherence to company SOPs.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 1 year of customer service/sales experience or equivalent combination.
• Excellent communication skills (verbal & written).
• Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Train and develop Product Sales Specialists.
• Ensure excellent customer service and product information for shoppers.
• Direct and assist merchandising, pricing and department organization.
• Greet customers and assist with product questions and selections.
• Process sales at checkout using the POS system and handle refunds/exchanges.
• Communicate SOP changes to associates in a timely manner.
• Complete product specialist certification courses.
• Inspect and validate product placement and pricing.
