Job summary

Floor & Decor Holdings Inc. is seeking a trainer for Product Sales Specialists to ensure outstanding customer service and product knowledge across the store.

You will lead certification courses, reinforce the company philosophy of the basic P’s of retail, and guide staff in merchandising, pricing, and guest interactions. You will train, coach and assess associates in a fast-paced warehouse environment, maintain safety standards, and support inventory accuracy while delivering a positive shopping

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED.
• 1 year of customer service/sales experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience sufficient to perform the essential functions of the job.
• Excellent communication skills (verbal & written).
• Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
• Demonstrate understanding of basic retail principles.

Responsibilities

• Lead and train Product Sales Specialists to deliver exceptional customer service.
• Ensure accurate product knowledge and showroom merchandising.
• Oversee pricing, placement, and department organization.
• Complete all product specialist certification courses.
• Greet customers and assist with product questions and selections.
• Process transactions at checkout using the POS system and handle refunds/exchanges per guidelines.
• Communicate SOPs and changes to all associates in a timely manner.
