Job summary

Floor & Decor is seeking a trainer for Product Sales Specialists to ensure exceptional customer service and accurate product knowledge. You will train staff, enforce safety SOPs, and guide merchandising and pricing decisions across the department.

The role emphasizes leadership in a fast-paced retail environment, effective communication, and hands-on coaching of store associates to improve the customer shopping experience.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 1 year of customer service/sales experience or equivalent education/experience.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Provide training to Product Sales Specialists and ensure consistent customer service.
• Demonstrate and uphold the company’s safe lifting practices and SOPs.
• Teach the basic P’s of retail: People, Position, Product, Presentation, Price, Promotion, Purchasing.
• Direct and assist product placement, pricing, and department organization.
• Greet customers and assist with product questions and selections.
• Process checkout and returns according to guidelines.
• Complete product specialist certification courses.
• Communicate inventory needs to management.
