Job summary

Floor & Decor Holdings Inc. seeks a purpose-driven trainer to develop Product Sales Specialists and ensure customers enjoy an outstanding shopping experience with expert product information.

The role focuses on teaching the basic P’s of retail, guiding staff on merchandising, pricing, and customer engagement while maintaining product knowledge and store standards. Training will emphasize safety and procedures across the department.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED is required.
• 1 year of customer service/sales experience or equivalent.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Act in line with company values and standards.
• Ensure safe handling and adherence to SOPs.
• Drive and teach the basic P’s of retail (People, Position, Product, Presentation, Price, Promotion, Purchasing).
• Provide direction to product sales specialists for high-quality customer service.
• Complete product specialist certification courses.
• Understand merchandise and installation processes.
