Sprouts Farmers Market in Richardson, TX is seeking an Assistant Deli Manager to help lead one of our busiest deli teams and deliver outstanding customer service in a fast-paced environment.

The role supports the Deli Manager with department merchandising, ordering, inventory, and staff development while maintaining food safety standards and teamwork. Candidates should have at least 2 years of supervisory experience and strong deli knowledge.

Competenze

• Be at least 18 years of age with a preferred 2 years supervisory experience and strong knowledge of deli or related food service.
• Be dependable and reliable, with a flexible schedule including nights, weekends and holidays.
• Have strong communication skills both written and verbal and the ability to take and give direction in a team environment.
• Show an outgoing and friendly demeanor with a positive attitude and ability to interact with customers, handle special orders and answer phones.
• Possess leadership ability to build, motivate and maintain staff, with knowledge of personnel reports, margin reports, weekly sales numbers and financial goals.
• Maintain attention to detail, analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Hold Food Safety certification and ensure compliance with regulations and standards.

• Assist the Deli Manager in managing and merchandising the department for maximum productivity and profit
• Responsible for ordering and inventory controls, product quality, and supervision of the Deli team.
• Effectively coordinate production, merchandising, and sales through planning, direction, goal setting, communication, and teamwork.

• Assist in hiring, teaching, training, and developing the Deli team
• Unload and sort store deliveries, operate and maintain deli equipment
