Sprouts Farmers Market is seeking an Assistant Deli Manager to lead one of our busiest deli teams and help customers choose healthy options. You will oversee merchandising, inventory controls, and product quality while maintaining exceptional service in a fast-paced store environment.

The role requires at least 2 years of supervisory experience in deli or food service, strong communication, and leadership. A Food Safety certification is preferred, with flexibility for varied shifts, including

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Preferred 2 years supervisory experience in deli or related food service.
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Outgoing and friendly demeanor with a positive attitude.
• Proven leadership ability to build, motivate and maintain staff.
• Knowledge of personnel reports, margin reports, weekly sales numbers and financial goals.
• Maintain Food Safety certification.
• Strong organization and planning skills.
• Able to lift up to 70 lbs. with or without assistance.
• Able to stand for up to 8 hours per shift.
• Operate deli equipment and maintain all equipment safely.
• Willing to perform other related duties as assigned.

Responsabilités

• Assist the Deli Manager in managing and merchandising the department for maximum productivity and profit.
• Responsible for ordering and inventory controls, product quality, and supervision of the Deli team.
• Coordinate production, merchandising, and sales through planning, direction, goal setting, communication, and teamwork.
• Assist in leading a team that brainstorms to deliver the finest quality of product and service.
• Assist in hiring, teaching, training, developing the Deli team.
• Unload and sort deliveries, operate and maintain deli equipment.
• Ensure adherence to health, safety, and sanitation guidelines and train others accordingly.
• Thrive in a fast-paced environment and support store operations as needed.
