You’ll support the Deli Manager with operations, merchandising, and staff development in a fast-paced store environment.

The role requires supervisory experience, deli/food service knowledge, strong communication, and the ability to lift up to 70 lbs.

Qualifikationen

• Minimum 18 years old with at least 2 years supervisory experience
• Strong knowledge of deli or related food service
• Flexible schedule including nights, weekends and holidays
• Excellent written and verbal communication
• Ability to lift/carry up to 70 lbs and stand for extended periods
• Food Safety certification required and adherence to safety guidelines
• Strong organizational and planning skills

Aufgaben

• Assist the Deli Manager in managing and merchandising the department for productivity and profit
• Oversee ordering, inventory controls, product quality, and supervision of the Deli team
• Coordinate production, merchandising, and sales through planning and teamwork
• Assist in hiring, training, and developing the Deli team
• Unload deliveries, operate and maintain deli equipment
• Ensure compliance with health, safety, and sanitation guidelines
