Sprouts Farmers Market is seeking an Assistant Deli Manager to lead a busy deli team and help customers make healthy food choices. You will assist in managing the department, controlling inventory, maintaining product quality, and ensuring excellent service in a fast-paced store environment.

Qualifications

• 2 years supervisory experience in deli or related food service.
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule including nights, weekends and holidays.
• Outgoing and friendly demeanor with customer focus and teamwork.
• Proven leadership to motivate and develop staff; knowledge of margins and sales helpful.
• Food Safety certification and adherence to all safety regulations.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Deli Manager in managing and merchandising the department for productivity and profit.
• Oversee ordering, inventory controls, product quality, and supervision of the Deli team.
• Coordinate production, merchandising and sales through planning, direction and communication.
• Help hire, train, and develop the Deli team.
• Unload deliveries and maintain deli equipment; ensure safety and sanitation guidelines.
• Support fast-paced operations and strive for high customer service standards.
