Job summary

Asset Living is seeking an Assistant Community Manager to oversee daily operations and financial functions of a housing community under the Community Manager's supervision. The role focuses on rent collection, cash flow optimization, and ensuring compliance with policies, safety, and fair housing guidelines.

You will supervise onsite staff, leasing activities, maintenance coordination, and risk management. Strong accounting and organizational skills are essential for driving resident

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required or two years in housing industry
• Bachelor’s degree preferred or two years experience in housing industry
• Ability to understand and perform onsite software functions; basic computer skills required

Responsibilities

• Post payments and income accurately from residents, applicants, and others.
• Process and reconcile daily accounts receivable.
• Monitor bad debt and issue late notices and evictions as needed.
• Help property meet budgeted revenues, expenses, and NOI.
• Post charges to resident accounts and bill back utilities when applicable.
• Conduct end-of-month closing procedures and reporting.
• Maintain organized records and audit resident files.
• Walk units and post move-out charges and security deposits.
