Job summary

Asset Living is seeking an Assistant Community Manager to oversee daily operations and financial functions of the housing community, under the Community Manager. You will play a vital role in delinquency control and rent collection to optimize cash flow and financial position.

As an onsite leader, you will supervise staff to ensure compliance with policies, safety, and fair housing guidelines. The role requires a High School Diploma or Equivalent; a Bachelor's degree is preferred or two years of

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent; bachelor’s preferred.
• Ability to perform onsite software functions; basic computer skills required.
• Knowledge of Fair Housing Laws and OSHA requirements.

Responsibilities

• Post payments and income from applicants and residents accurately.
• Process and reconcile daily accounts receivable.
• Monitor bad debt, send late notices, contact residents and guarantors, and file evictions.
• Help the property meet budgeted revenues, expenses, and NOI.
• Post charges to resident accounts and bill-back utilities when applicable.
• Perform end-of-month close procedures and reporting.
• Maintain organized records; audit resident files for accuracy.
• Walk units and post move-out charges, statements, and security deposits.
• Supervise onsite staff and ensure policy compliance.
