Job summary

Asset Living seeks an Assistant Community Manager to oversee daily operations and financial functions of a housing community under supervision of the Community Manager. You will manage rent collection, delinquencies, and ensure compliance with policies and fair housing guidelines, while supervising staff and coordinating maintenance.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or Equivalent; Bachelor's degree preferred or two years experience in the housing industry; or one to two years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Ability to understand and perform all onsite software functions; basic computer skills required.
• Must have basic knowledge of Fair Housing Laws and OSHA requirements.

Responsibilities

• Post and reconcile payments and income from residents and applicants.
• Process and reconcile daily accounts receivable.
• Monitor bad debt, issue late notices, contact residents and file evictions.
• Assist in meeting budgeted revenues and NOI.
• Manage move-in/move-out charges and security deposits.
• Ensure end-of-month closing procedures and reporting are completed.
• Maintain accurate records and audit resident files.
• Conduct move-in/move-out inspections and post charges as needed.
• Supervise onsite staff and ensure adherence to company policies.
