Job summary

Asset Living in Olympia, WA is seeking an Assistant Community Manager to oversee daily operations under the Community Manager. You will help manage leasing, financial functions, and on-site staff to ensure compliance with company policies and fair housing guidelines.

The role focuses on rent collections, delinquency control, and maintaining property cash flow while delivering professional resident service and coordinating maintenance and administrative tasks.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or Equivalent; Bachelor’s degree preferred or two years experience in the housing industry; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Ability to operate onsite software functions; basic computer skills required.
• Knowledge of Fair Housing Laws and OSHA requirements.

Responsibilities

• Financial Management: posting payments, reconciling accounts, and maintaining records.
• Personnel Management: supervising onsite staff, training, coaching, and ensuring compliance.
• Administrative Management: ensure timely service requests, property upkeep, and vendor coordination.
