Job summary

Planet Fitness is seeking an Assistant Manager to help oversee club operations and ensure a exceptional “Judgement Free” member experience. This full-time role focuses on onboarding and training new team members, leading staff through tasks, and driving KPI goals.

You will support the Club Manager, assist with hiring, scheduling, and maintaining a clean, safe facility while promoting the brand’s values. Join a team that values service, teamwork, and growth.

Qualifications

• 9-12 months of experience in a customer service environment is preferred.
• 9-12 months of experience supervising and leading a team is preferred.
• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Willing to become CPR/AED Certified (Training provided by Planet Fitness)
• Basic computer proficiency

Responsibilities

• Lead team members to complete assigned tasks in a safe and efficient manner.
• Model the behaviors to provide an outstanding member experience; coach and inspire others to do the same.
• Assist in resolving employee concerns and provide backup staffing as needed.
• Manage inventory system for cleaning supplies and ordering club supplies.
• Track KPI to identify strengths and opportunities and collaborate with the club manager.
• Assist in hiring and onboarding new team members.
• Ensure cleanliness and safety of club facilities and equipment.
