Planet Fitness is seeking an Assistant Manager to support the Club Manager in daily operations and lead a team to deliver a clean, safe, and welcoming club experience. You will drive membership growth, supervise front desk and maintenance staff, and ensure top-notch member service in a Judgement Free Zone environment.

You will be on-site, oversee scheduling, assist with tours and sign-ups, and uphold safety procedures while training staff to meet Planet Fitness standards.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older.
• Must be able to work onsite; not remote.
• Superior customer service skills preferred in fitness industry.
• Strong leadership, communication and conflict resolution skills.
• Hard working, enthusiastic and energetic.
• Strong problem resolution skills.
• Obtain and maintain CPR/AED Certification within required timeframes.
• Obtain Tanning Certification within required timeframes.

Responsibilities

• Assist Club Manager in daily club operations to ensure a clean, safe, and welcoming environment.
• Lead and train front desk and cleaning staff; ensure quality member service.
• Support staff scheduling and time management; promote teamwork.
• Perform front desk duties: answer phones, check in members, and conduct tours for prospects.
• Promote the Judgement Free Zone and maintain a positive atmosphere.
• Resolve member concerns promptly and professionally; uphold customer service standards.
