Planet Fitness is seeking an Assistant Manager to support gym operations and ensure a Judgement Free member experience while driving club performance.

You will help recruit, train and supervise staff, oversee front desk operations, and maintain a welcoming atmosphere for members and guests. The role calls for strong customer service, basic computer skills and CPR certification, with a commitment to safety and cleanliness.

Qualifications

• Superior customer service skills, preferably in the fitness industry.
• Experience working as a Member Service Representative at Planet Fitness.
• Solid supervisory, diplomacy and listening skills.
• Basic computer proficiency (Microsoft Suite).
• Must be 18 years of age or older.

Responsibilities

• Assist in recruiting, hiring, training and developing a high performing staff.
• Maintain a welcoming atmosphere for all members and guests with superior customer service.
• Assist with Staff Management and provide backup support to Club Manager as needed.
• Assist in scheduling and supervising staff.
• Oversee member service to ensure a superior customer experience.
• Resolve or escalate employee issues as needed.
