Planet Fitness is seeking an Assistant Manager to help oversee club operations and deliver a Judgement Free experience. This full-time role involves onboarding, training, guiding staff, and ensuring KPIs are met, while maintaining safety and clean facilities.

The position emphasizes leadership, customer service, and operational support with a comprehensive benefits package for eligible employees.

Qualifications

• 9–12 months of experience in a customer service environment is preferred.
• 9–12 months of experience supervising and leading a team is preferred.
• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Willing to become CPR/AED Certified (Training provided by Planet Fitness).
• Basic computer proficiency required.

Responsibilities

• Lead team members to complete assigned tasks in a safe and efficient manner.
• Model the behaviors to provide an outstanding member experience; coach and inspire others to do the same.
• Assist in resolving employee concerns.
• Provide backup staffing support as needed.
• Manage inventory system for cleaning supplies.
• Ordering club supplies and retail products.
• Track KPI to identify strengths and opportunities; collaborate with the club manager.
• Support the Club Manager with hiring and onboarding new team members.
• Assess and assist in emergency situations.
