Job summary

Citizens Financial seeks an Assistant Branch Manager to lead and coach branch teams, oversee daily operations across multiple locations, and deliver outstanding customer experiences. You will translate strategic priorities into actionable goals, drive sales and service results, and foster a culture of operational excellence.

In a digital-first environment, you’ll supervise BM in their absence, partner with community organizations, and travel to required trainings to strengthen branch performance

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• 2+ years of sales experience in Retail or Branch Banking environment.
• Proven ability to coach and develop others to drive sales results and operational excellence in a high-volume branch environment.
• Successful record of driving an exceptional customer experience validated through customer satisfaction surveys.
• Strong financial, risk and business acumen including experience interpreting reports to drive productivity.
• Strong organizational skills including the ability to manage multiple responsibilities to prioritize and delegate while delivering results.
• Strong interpersonal skills including ability to build customer-base by approaching and establishing dialogue with customers.
• Maintain an active role through partnerships with community and civic organizations.
• Ability to travel, as needed, to required trainings and/or other branch locations.
• Meet and comply with all requirements set forth in the SAFE Act, including, but not limited to, successful completion of the pre-employment screening checks and obtaining a unique identifier from the NMLS.

Responsibilities

• Supervise branch operations across multiple locations.
• Collaborate with Branch Manager to oversee daily activities and ensure operational excellence.
• Coach and empower staff to meet individual and sales goals.
• Translate business priorities into actionable team goals and strategies.
• Act as a visible brand ambassador and engage with the local community.
• Travel as needed for trainings and branch visits.
