Minimum Qualifications:

• Knowledge of Fred Meyer policies and procedures
• Bachelor's degree in criminal justice
• Experience in retail security or law enforcement
• Ability to pursue ongoing education
• High school diploma or GED, or relevant experience
• Minimum age: 18 years (21 in Alaska)
• Ability to pass a drug test
• Capability to work in a fast-paced environment with high accuracy
• Maintain confidentiality of sensitive information
• Strong organizational and prioritization skills
• Familiarity with loss prevention terms and processes
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office

Responsibilities:

• Model Customer 1st behavior and promote excellent customer service
• Detect, deter, and detain theft suspects
• Prevent internal and external dishonesty
• Monitor large shrink areas
• Report incidents to the Asset Protection Manager
• Support customer and associate relations through communication and training
• Provide credible court testimony when needed
• Identify high-theft areas
• Ensure compliance with corporate policies
• Support company initiatives
• Maintain flexibility to work various shifts, including overtime and weekends
• Perform essential functions with or without reasonable accommodations
