Job summary

Cooper Farms is seeking a 2nd shift Assembly team member at our St. Henry, Ohio processing plant. This entry level role includes inspecting parts, operating machinery, and monitoring production while keeping a clean, safe environment.

The starting hourly rate is $18.50, with potential to increase to $19.25 after 90 days, plus monthly and year-end bonuses. Training provided; full benefits and opportunities to grow with a family-owned company.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age
• Ability to stand for prolonged periods
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds occasionally
• Ability to work in a climate controlled environment

Responsibilities

• Inspecting parts and assembling machines in the fabrication department.
• Monitoring product and equipment during operation and reporting any changes.
• Ensuring accurate ingredient content of every batch and packaging according to customer specifications.
• Operating a walkie and learning the M-Tech System.

Our St. Henry Processing plant in Mercer County, Ohio, prepares the turkeys for further processing and distribution. Cooper Farms is currently seeking a 2nd shift Assembly team member to join our team in St. Henry.

SHIFT HOURS

Monday through Friday 3:15pm-11:45pm

STARTING HOURLY RATE

$18.50 with the potential of increasing to $19.25 after 90 days.

ADDITIONAL PAY

Monthly and year-end profit-sharing bonuses (dependent upon company performance)

All training will be provided for this entry level position. Job functions include:
