Cooper Farms is hiring a 1st shift Operations Training Lead for our Liquid Egg Processing facility in Ft. Recovery, Ohio. You will guide new hires through their first 45 days, pairing them with trainers and monitoring progress to ensure quality training.

Responsibilities include coordinating across departments, assisting with safety investigations, and helping team members pursue growth opportunities. Flexibility to cover 2nd/3rd shifts as needed is required.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Excellent communication and people skills.
• Experience across multiple plant departments is preferred.
• Must be able to use Microsoft Word and Excel.
• Hours may include 2nd and 3rd shifts; flexibility required.
• High school diploma or GED preferred; bilingual is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Learn all plant areas to assist new and current team members.
• Pair new hires with trainers and monitor progress during first month.
• Help employees identify growth and advancement opportunities.
• Meet at 30- and 60-day milestones for feedback and questions.
• Train and support trainers to ensure quality training.
• Assist with safety activities and incident investigations.
• Coordinate with HR and Safety to complete new hire paperwork.

The primary goal of this position is to provide support with new hire training for all new team members during their first 45 days of employment.

Pay & Schedule

• Starting Pay: $19.20-$23.45/hour
• Potential increase after 90 days
• Monthly and Year-End Profit-Sharing Bonuses (based on company performance)
• Schedule:
• Monday through Friday
• 6:00am-2:30pm
• Must have flexibility to work 2nd and 3rd shift when needed
  

What You'll Do

• Learn the different areas of the plant so you can help new and current team members get comfortable in their work areas
• Pair new hires with trainers and regularly check on their progress while offering support during their first month
• Help team members identify opportunities for growth and job advancement within the company
• Meet with team members at their 30-day and 60-day milestones to get feedback and answer questions
• Train and support team member trainers to ensure new hires receive quality training and address any training concerns
• Help managers and supervisors with safety-related activities, including incident investigations
• Work with Human Resources and Safety to ensure new hires complete all required paperwork

What We're Looking For

• Must be at least 18 years of age
• Must have excellent communication and people skills with the ability to work alone or as part of a team
• Experience in many of the various departments is necessary
• Must be able to use Microsoft Word & Excel
• Candidate must be flexible with their hours as they will be required to come in on 2nd and 3rd shifts at times
• High school diploma or GED preferred
• Bilingual is preferred but not required
