Job summary

Cooper Farms is seeking 1st shift Deboning Production team members for our St. Henry, Ohio facility. Starting hourly rate is $17.50 with the potential to rise to $18.25 after 90 days.

Production work includes deboning turkeys and related quality checks in a climate-controlled plant. Mon-Fri schedule from 6:00am to approximately 3:30pm with opportunities for monthly and year-end profit-sharing bonuses based on company performance.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age.
• Ability to be on feet for prolonged periods of time.
• Ability to occasionally lift up to 50 pounds.
• Ability to tolerate a climate controlled environment.

Responsibilities

• Using a knife, inspecting and trimming defects without cutting off excess meat.
• Performing all job functions related to deboning a turkey.
• Reworking any product that does not run through properly.
• Wearing all required PPE and rotating with other team members as directed.

Our St. Henry Harvesting plant in Mercer County, Ohio, prepares the turkeys for further processing and distribution. Cooper Farms is currently seeking 1st shift (Deboning) Food Production team members to join our team in St. Henry.

SHIFT HOURS:

Monday through Friday 6:00am- approximately 3:30pm

STARTING HOURLY RATE:

$17.50 with the potential of increasing to $18.25 after 90 days

ADDITIONAL PAY:

Monthly and year-end profit-sharing bonuses (dependent upon company performance)

Deboning Production

• Utilizing a knife, inspecting and trimming defects without cutting off excess meat.
