O’Reilly Auto Parts is seeking an Assistant Store Manager to support the Store Manager in sales, customer service, and store operations in Michigan. The role involves leading team members, staffing during peak hours, training, and participating in hiring decisions to ensure qualified candidates are selected.

Qualifications

• Required: Sales Specialist Training, Assistant Manager Certification and RSS Certification.
• Desired: Certified Parts Professional Certification; ASE Certification.
• Fluency in multiple languages (Spanish is highly desired).

Responsibilities

• Lead the store team in providing excellent customer service to retail and professional customers.
• Supervise customer service levels at the retail showroom, including program execution (Related sales, Hi5, Rock the Call, Never Say No, Rock the Lot).
• Work with the store manager to ensure staffing during peak hours and supervise team performance.
• Assist in hiring by recruiting, interviewing, and selecting qualified team members.
• Ensure all operations, including returns, exchanges, and invoicing, are performed accurately and efficiently.
