Job summary

O’Reilly Auto Parts in Michigan is seeking an Assistant Store Manager to support the Store Manager in sales, customer service, store appearance and operations. This role will lead the store team, manage during absence or opposing shifts, and ensure high service levels for both retail and professional customers.

Qualifications

• Required: Sales Specialist Training, Assistant Manager Certification and RSS Certification.
• Desired: Certified Parts Professional Certification; ASE Certification.
• Fluency in multiple languages (Spanish is highly desired).

Responsibilities

• Lead the store team members in providing excellent customer service to retail and professional customers.
• Supervise customer service levels on the retail showroom with team execution of service programs.
• Collaborate with the store manager to ensure adequate staffing during peak hours.
• Assist in hiring by recruiting, interviewing, and selecting qualified team members.
• Ensure telephone is answered according to company policy and orders are processed timely.
