Job summary

MeBe is seeking a Behavior Technician to join our team and help children with autism develop essential skills in a supportive, evidence-based ABA setting. You’ll work 1:1 with ke y kiddos at our Learning Center, implementing plans developed by qualified BCBA clinicians and recording progress in our data system.

You’ll receive two weeks of paid training to prepare for the RBT exam and ongoing mentorship from Supervisors.

Qualifications

• Must be 18+ with a valid driver’s license.
• RBT certification preferred; must obtain within 45 days of employment.
• Background check required.
• CPR/BLS certification required before working with clients.
• Able to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Part-time availability Monday through Friday.

Responsibilities

• Teach and nurture behavioral, social, communication, and daily living skills in a 1:1 setting with ke y children on the autism spectrum at MeBe's Learning Center.
• Follow treatment plans developed by BCBAs to increase communication, self-help, social, and play skills.
• Relay progress to BCBA teams to inform assessments and care decisions.
• Accurately record behavior analysis and progress in Central Reach after each session.
• Clock in/out and submit session notes to align with ABA and insurance provider regulations.
• Help keep the workplace safe, organized, and well maintained.
• Assist with lunch breaks, bathroom breaks, and diaper changes as needed.
• Support site directors and supervisors with tasks and projects.
• Voice questions or concerns to supervisors and contribute to treatment planning.
• Build positive relationships with families while maintaining professional boundaries.
• Contribute to the MeBe Family culture.
