Qualifications

• A passion for real, good food and a desire to learn culinary practices.
• The ability to demonstrate and execute a strong work ethic.
• The physical ability to lift up to 25 pounds regularly and up to 50 pounds occasionally.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Prep, mix, and cook vegetables, proteins, grains using recipes as a guide.
• Gain exposure to different kitchen stations (garde manger, grill, roast, market line, etc.).
• Speak about menu offerings, seasonality, and ingredients with guests.
• Support the team during peak and off-peak service.
• Maintain food safety standards per DIG policies.
• Uphold anti-discrimination and anti-harassment policies.
• Contribute to the mission of rebuilding the food system.
