DIG INN Restaurant Teams is seeking a Chef-in-Training in New York. You will join our scratch-based kitchen to learn, develop leadership, and work in a fast-paced culinary environment.

The role focuses on turning enthusiasm for food into skilled kitchen practice and a shared mission to rebuild the food system. You will rotate through multiple stations, gain hands-on experience, and work to maintain high food safety standards while supporting the team during peak and off-peak service.

Qualifications

• Passion for real, good food and eagerness to learn culinary skills.
• Willingness to work in a fast-paced kitchen and follow recipes.
• Strong work ethic and reliability.

Responsibilities

• Prep, mix, and cook vegetables, proteins, grains, etc. using recipes as a guide.
• Gain exposure to garde manger, grill, roast, market line, guest concierge and delivery/packout stations.
• Describe menu offerings, seasonality, and ingredients to guests to ensure a great experience.
