Jacobs seeks an Entry-Level Mechanical Engineer to support Building Mechanical/HVAC systems within our Advanced Facilities Data Centers team. You will apply theoretical knowledge to solve real-world challenges for clients across the country.

You'll work with engineers and designers on field investigations, equipment sizing, and construction design packages, developing criteria and P&IDs, and coordinating with other trades under Professional Engineers. Growth opportunities exist.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Architectural, or Fire Protection Engineering or closely related discipline.
• Desire to design building mechanical systems, including HVAC and piping.
• Proficiency in 3D CAD.
• Visa Sponsorship is not available for this role.

Responsibilities

• Develop design criteria, Air Flow Diagrams (AFDs), and P&IDs.
• Prepare system design calculations and related design services.
• Coordinate with architectural and engineering trades under the guidance of Professional Engineers.
• Ensure schedule and technical quality of tasks while meeting client expectations.
