Jacobs is seeking an Entry Level Mechanical Engineer to join our Advanced Facilities Data Centers team, focusing on building mechanical systems and HVAC design across the country.

You will perform field investigations, interface with clients and vendors, size equipment, and prepare construction design packages, developing AFDs and P&IDs under professional guidance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Architectural, or Fire Protection Engineering or related discipline.
• Desire to design building mechanical systems, including HVAC and piping.
• Proficiency in 3D CADD.

Responsibilities

• Perform field investigations and interface with clients and vendors.
• Size and select equipment and prepare construction design packages.
• Develop design criteria, Air Flow Diagrams (AFDs), and P&IDs.
• Coordinate with architectural and engineering trades under Professional Engineers.
• Ensure schedule and technical quality of engineering tasks.
